Your First Visit
When you become a new patient of Dr. Becker’s, you can count on a dental experience that’s refreshingly different. Not only will you enjoy a spa-like atmosphere, but you’ll also experience our unique, consultative approach to patient care.
During your first visit, Dr. Becker will meet you in a consultation area, not an exam chair, to discuss your concerns and goals. He will then perform a thorough, one-hour examination to look for gum disease, check your teeth for cavities, add screen for oral cancer and any soft tissue abnormalities and even take your blood pressure.
Once your initial examination is complete, he will discuss his findings and recommendations with you—giving you the chance to ask questions and understand all of your options.
At the end of your initial exam and consultation, you will generally set up an appointment for a cleaning or to actually address any gum problems or needs.
